Concerts & Performances

Our Concerts

The Schuylkill Choral Society proudly presents 3 dynamic concerts each season that showcase the talents of our nearly 100 active members. We perform a diverse repertoire of traditional choral music, classical works, and arrangements of popular songs that engage audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Seasonal Performances

Join us for our seasonal performances, which include a holiday celebration, a more serious classical program in March, and a more light-hearted spring concert.   Each is designed to create a sense of joy and togetherness within our community.

The SCS collaborates with local schools, organizations, and artists to bring special events to life. These partnerships help us enrich the cultural fabric of our community through the power of music.  Community partners have included:

The Anthracite Philharmonic

Walk In Art Center

Orwigsburg Veterans Memorial

& others.

Children's Performances

The Minor Notes Youth Choir accepts children from age 7 to 15 and rehearses on Mondays from 6:30-7 pm.   The Minor Notes perform as part of the Choral Society's concerts and perform throughout the area in various capacities.
